IX. Portfolio and support guide
The main results of the project consist of a tool (a portfolio) and method (a guide): a portfolio of skills and competences for the volunteers (44 pages) ; a guide for accompanying them (28 pages).
The portfolio comprehends 9 parts :
- a biography of the volunteer
- a list of training followed
- the missions fulfilled
- a method to identify the competences (mind-map)
- a list of competences (tables of competences)
- an action plan for the volunteer
- a synthesis of the portfolio
- the volunteer's curriculum vitae
- Annexes : European CV , pressentation of the association
The guide comprehends 7 points :
- the context : a European context
- the steps of the AVE process
- a tool : the portfolio
- the main objectives of the tool
- a method : self-evaluation or accompanying with a guide
- workshops
- different steps for accompanying
The main publics focussed are :
- volunteers willing to renew with the labour market : youngsters, parents after having raised the children, long term unemployed people
- public authorities working with associations ;
- human ressources people
The trainer/guide should have:
- a good knowledge in the field of associations ;
- a good knowledge in human resources or at least some practical experience in this field...;
- a training/education experience.
- trainers within organizations (internal) or outside the organization (external)
A process of labellisation : access to AVE requires a training for the tool and method ;financing of the training depends on the country ; content and duration to decide with the partners' project ; a guide for the evaluation among volunteers and a proof of the training followed.
